Vocal Ex hosts Festival

LOCAL gospel ensemble, Vocal Extraordinaire, will stage a show dubbed “Worship Altar festival 2017” at Bulawayo Amphitheatre on January 2.
The show will feature Takesure “Zamar” Ncube, Eric Moyo, Ayanda Shange, and Avis Dlamini who are signed for renowned South African gospel outfit Joyous Celebration.
Another guest musician Lorraine Maplanka Stot who released her inaugural album “Chronicles of a worshipper “at Victory Fellowship on December 16, will likewise take to the stage.
Speaking to Zimbabwe Newsday, founder of Vocal Extraordinaire, Thembelani Mdlaziba who has been working tirelessly in bringing to the country these celebrated artistes, said he is elated and everything is set.
“All is set and we are ready to roll, We are excited at bringing these gospel giants and we hope that Bulawayo will be serenaded .We are hoping for a smooth flow of things and for our fans to come and support in their great numbers.
The festival will feature Eric Moyo and Takesure Ncube, who have stolen the limelight in the gospel music arena .The two signed for renowned South African gospel outfit Joyous Celebration and have featured in their various live recordings, ”he said.
Shange one of the performing artistes took to Facebook to confirm his availability at the Festival.
“Where are my Zimbabwean supporters, My brothers and sisters I’m coming to you all on the 2nd of January 2017, I can’t wait ,”he said
Vocal Extraordinaire launched its first DVD and CD recently at the Word of life Auditorium in Bulawayo.
The launch dubbed “I live to worship” (Ebenezer) saw hundreds of gospel music lovers thronging the event.
Gospel groups, Gospel Maniacs, Royal Elite, Deeper Song Tehillah and Dumisa took to the stage as curtain raisers.
Vocal Extraordinaire has a mission to relay a message of unity, hope, peace and the love of God with melodious vocal authority ,ministering the word of God through song acroz
