Minister hails zero grazing

The Honorable Minister of Health and Child Care Dr .P. D. Parirenyatwa on the occasion of the official handover of SD BIOLINE HIV/syphilis duo rapid test kits held recently in Harare said people must stay on zero grazing as celebrations of Christmas and New Year continue to unfold.

Speaking in Harare recently the Minister said HIV and AIDS  continue to pose challenges to the global community and to Zimbabweans.

Prevalence of HIV among adults aged 15-64 years in Zimbabwe is 14.6 percent.

” On World AIDS Day, 1st of December 23,2016, Zimbabwe Population Based HIV Impact Assessment (ZIMPHIA) data was released ,indicating some positive results including that the population of people living with HIV in Zimbabwe has come down to 1,2 million.

“Even HIV incidence has come down to 0,45 among people ages from 15-64 years,” the Minister said.

Zero grazing according to the Minister means to be a faithful partner in marriage.
