Warriors have apologized their conduct following their refusal to turn-up for a failed dinner on Friday.

This came after the Zimbabwe Football Association ZIFA could not meet their demands of giving them their pending salaries since last year.

The strange scenario led ZIFA to apologize to the public for the warriors ‘ unbecoming behavior.

ZIFA have also apologized to the acting president Emmerson Mnangagwa who was supposed to be the guest at the function at Rainbow Towers.

The government had earlier on promised 1 million for the warriors in preparation for the AFCON Games.

A public apology made by the Warriors ‘s manager Sharif Mussa says soccer fans must try and ignore the event and continue to support Warriors ahead of Africa Cup of Nations AFCON in Gabon.

“I apologize to the government, stakeholders and everybody concerned.

“The way it happened should not have happened

“We could have come up with a better way to resolve this.

“Once again we are sorry, I am sorry on behalf of everyone on the way and manner it happened”, Sharif Mussa said.
