BOSSO falls, CAPS UNITED wins

CAPS United are on the brink of clinching Zimbabwe football championship trophy following a spirited 1-0 win over city rivals, Harare City.

The win comes at the back of a shock 2-1 loss for title challengers Highlanders Bosso who lost 1-2 to  Tsholotsho this afternoon.

Boss’s title chances went up in smoke with a defeat to lowly placed Tsholotsho at Barbourfields stadium today.

Tsholotsho raced to a two nil shock lead through double scorer Nixon Gama at both halves.

Ralph Matema pulled one back coming on as a substitute.

The defeat saw Highlanders slip to third place.

CAPS have veteran Leonard Tsipa to thank.

He was on target just after one minute of play.

Boss’s loss enabled third placed FC Platinum to climb to second place. The beat Chapungu 2-0 at Ascot in Gweru
