Didymus Mutasa Dragged to Court
Zimbabwe People First founding elder Professor Didymus Mutasa is being drawn to court on account of a $81 000 lawsuit connecting him and the Petroleum Company of Zimbabwe.
Sources close to ZPF elder revealed to an online publication that the Petroleum Company is criminally suing Dr Mutasa for allegedly failing to pay back the $81 000 which was advanced to him while he was still a cabinet Minister.
The sources could however not clearly spell out how Mutasa got to owe the oil company that huge amount of money. However, the sources confirmed that Mutasa signed an acknowledgement of debt on the amount in 2014 and it is alleged he has since then been avoiding the oil company and not paid back a cent of the outstanding amount which has been attracting interest since then.
Mutasa could not be reached for comment on the matter.
